Brittany St. Pierre teaches private flute and piano lessons in the Fayette/Scott County area (KY.) She has been teaching for seven years and looks forward to expanding her private studio. Her students earn distinguished ratings and participate in several flute competitions in and around Kentucky.

 

She has degrees in Flute Performance and Music Education at the University of Kentucky. She has been selected to perform in the National Flute Association's Collegiate Flute Choir. Brittany has studied with Dr. Julie Hobbs, Jana Flygstad, and Merillee Elliott and has performed in masterclasses with internationally renowned flutists, such as Michael Hasel of the Berlin Philarmonic, Marianne Gedigian, Angela Jones-Reus, Molly Barth, and Alice Dade. She is currently pursuing a certificate in Dalcroze Eurythmics and a Master's Degree in Flute Performance.

 

Additionally, at the end of Summer 2019 she will be certified in Dalrcroze Eurythmics Level 2, Orff Schulwerk Level 1, as well as Modern Band training through Little Kids Rock.
